After she has narrowly escaped death, Sam (Julia Montes) knows for sure that Lucas (Ronwaldo Martin) and his henchmen are still in the area to make sure that they're indeed able to kill her. Thus, after seeking refuge from the river, she immediately surfaces, runs towards a nearby wall, and manages to climb over it despite the gunshot wound on her left arm until she makes it above the roof of one of the shanties.
She starts to run over the houses until she accidentally lands and crashes onto the roof of the room of Gabo (Coco Martin), who is having a little moment of reflection about his life and a lighthearted conversation with God about finally meeting the woman that He has destined for him at the time as he's about to go to sleep. As soon as he's done enumerating to God the qualities of his ideal wife and telling Him, "Okay lang, Lord, kung gusto N'yo na siyang ihulog sa akin," Sam indeed suddenly falls exactly on his side, much to his astonishment.
His father, Rudy (Joey Marquez), and Aunt Mameng (Ces Quesada) hurriedly enter his bedroom and are stunned to see an unconscious woman lying beside Gabo on his bed. While the sight itself is already shocking, what leaves them even more stunned is seeing her bloodied hand gripping a gun.
As Gabo tries to wake the woman up and lay her flat on her back, he's flabbergasted to see that she's actually someone he knows—the NCIA agent whom he has already crossed paths with for a few times already. Mameng and Rudy can't help but be alarmed upon learning from Gabo that their unexpected visitor actually works for the NCIA, as well as wonder what she could have been doing above their roof.
His Uncle Dante (Julio Diaz) also enters Gabo's bedroom to check what is happening and is equally shocked to see Sam.
