Armed with renewed determination to obtain another job for him to be able to help cover the hospital bills of Linda (Lizel Marquez), Gabo (Coco Martin) heads to the hideout of Anino, the covert vigilante group he is now a part of, to ask its leader, Paps (Joonee Gamboa), for a new mission. Gabo wants to help pay for the medical expenses of Linda, the woman he brought to the hospital after she was shot by the gang of thieves who attacked her and her son, Potchoy (Jaze Capili).
Since Paps never asked him to come, he cannot help but wonder why Gabo is there. Gabo apologizes for arriving unannounced and explains that he came to ask for a new assignment because he badly needs money.
Gabo then tells Paps that he used to think their time inside the correctional facility was the darkest phase of his life because their lives were constantly in danger. However, after being released, he realized that they were still actually fortunate back then because they at least had a roof over their heads and food to eat. Now that he has experienced life on the outside, he has come to understand how difficult it is to make ends meet, as people have to fight every day just to survive.
Although Paps initially seems hesitant, Tomas (Levi Ignacio) steps in to help Gabo convince him to give him another assignment. Tomas points out that Gabo proved himself dependable and trustworthy during his previous mission and could therefore be an asset to Anino.
Paps tells Gabo that he can give him another mission but admits that he is afraid Gabo may not be ready for it yet. Uwak (Jojit Lorenzo) agrees, warning that the mission could put Gabo’s life in danger, especially since many have already attempted it in the past, yet no one has succeeded. Lawin (Paolo Rodriguez) echoes Uwak’s concerns, prompting Gabo to confront them about their doubts.
Insisting that he can accomplish the mission just as he did his previous assignment, Gabo is told by Uwak that he can only say that because he has no idea what is at stake this time. Tomas once again comes to Gabo’s defense, urging Uwak to give their recruit another chance. However, Omeng (Dindo Arroyo) reminds everyone that the final decision still rests with Paps.
