After having a nightmare the night before that revisited his final moments with his beloved mother, Belinda (Cristine Reyes), before she was fatally shot by a couple of armed men, Gabo (Coco Martin) experienced another painful flashback the following day.
On his way to Anino’s hideout, Gabo spotted a mother and her son happily walking along the same street. As he watched them, he was reminded of the precious moments he shared with his mother when she was still alive and he was just a young boy.
But his reverie was abruptly interrupted when he noticed five suspicious-looking men seemingly following the mother and son. His gut feel proved to be correct as the group of goons suddenly robbed them at an alley, with the mother being shot by one of them as she refused to give them
her bag. Upon hearing the mother's desperate cry for help, Gabo immediately raced toward them on his motorcycle, crashing into the suspects as they attempted to flee.
The heartbreaking scene struck a painful chord within him, bringing back memories of his own tragic past that he still struggles to move on from.
