What was supposed to be an ordinary evening for some residents of Ginintuang Lupa was suddenly filled with terror after a group of armed and masked goons raided a compound and abducted all the adult men they had found.
Fortunately, their loved ones were able to seek help from Gabo (Coco Martin) and his friends, who happened to pass by the area a several moments after the kidnapping. They accompanied them in reporting the incident to the NLEA officers assigned to monitor Ginintuang Lupa—except for Gabo since they're actually his rivals. However, instead of responding right there and then, the police officers told them that they had to place a blotter first, which completely annoyed Tekla (Sue Ramirez) and everyone.
Already pessimistic that they couldn't expect to get help from the authorities, Gabo and his friends agreed to take the matter into their hands and promised the families to help them find their now-missing loved ones and return them.
While they were discussing the possible reason why their impoverished yet kind neighbors were the targets, as well as the location where the kidnappers could have brought them, Gabo and his friends were approached by Edwin. He told them that he actually knew where the victims could have been taken, but he was just scared to speak up earlier since he feared that the NLEA officers might be accomplices.
As Gabo accepted Edwin's offer to take them to the place, Binoy (Nikko Natividad) couldn't help but worry about their safety. But Gabo reassured him that they hail from Tondo and that their greatest weapons are their hearts, so they should have nothing to be afraid of. This was echoed by Bong (Smugglaz), pointing out that they had grown up in a rough-and-tumble environment and were no strangers to difficult situations. Ipe (Bassilyo), meanwhile, reminded them that no matter what happened, they could at least take comfort in knowing that they had done something good for others before they even die.
