Just as he and his friends arrived at the bar in high spirits, Gabo's (Coco Martin) mood was instantly dampened after spotting Sam (Julia Montes) sharing a quite intimate moment with Seb (JC de Vera). His frustration only intensified when the cashier repeatedly ignored his attempts to place their group's order, prompting him to confront and even threaten the employee.
The change in Gabo's demeanor was evident when he returned to their table, which his friends immediately noticed. Little did he know that Sam, who was already a little drunk at the time, was actually going through a tough time in her personal and professional life. Seb was merely trying to comfort and encourage her while also taking the opportunity to shoot his shot at her Sam, whom he had been pursuing for quite some time.
Aside from listening to her sentiments and giving her advice, he also offered to take her on a vacation at her place of choice, which Sam declined. Thus, he simply pledged to help her out with her current problem, especially after their fellow agents revealed that the higher-ups were already building a case against her and planning to file a petition for her suspension.
Soon after, Sam announced that she would head home since she was already feeling tipsy. Their colleagues decided to leave with her, calling it a night. Meanwhile, as Gabo irritably confided in his friend Tekla (Sue Ramirez) that he saw something he didn't like, he didn't notice that the group of Sam had already left the bar.
Moments later, chaos erupted as their friends came rushing out, with Bong (Smugglaz) and Ipe (Bassilyo) ushering Daboy (Mammoth Estroso), Binoy (Nikko Natividad), and Tolits (Jerald Napoles) who were all wounded and in pain following their altercation with NCIA agents Robert (Ryan Martin), Bullet (Eric "Eruption" Tai), and James (John Medina) inside the men's restroom.
Upon learning what had happened, Gabo and Tekla immediately sprang from their seats, ready to confront the attackers. However, despite his burning desire to avenge his friends and to retaliate at Seb for beating him up during their first-ever encounter, Gabo told his friends that it wasn't the right time for them to strike back since they surely had no match to the well-equipped NCIA agents.
Beyond his desire for revenge, Gabo could not hide the pain in his eyes as he watched Seb carefully assist the tipsy Sam into her car before taking the driver's seat to bring her home.
