As she and Mameng (Ces Quesada) are about to begin preparing the food for Rudy’s (Joey Marquez) birthday celebration, Sam/Gloria (Julia Montes) excuses herself to use the bathroom. Inside, she contemplates the next moves she's going to take in pursuit of continuing her investigation against Gabo (Coco Martin).
Before Sam can even use the bathroom, Gabo suddenly comes in, much to her surprise, and immediately covers her mouth when she asks what is happening. Gabo tells her to keep quiet and stay inside for the meantime because his Nanay Betchay (Irma Adlawan) arrives home earlier than expected, and she cannot see her yet.
Just as Gabo and his family think they can continue hiding Gloria, they are horrified when Betchay suddenly says she needs to use the comfort room. Rudy, Mameng, and Dante (Julio Diaz) try to stop her by claiming that the toilet is clogged and suggesting that she rest first. However, Betchay remains determined to relieve herself.
Thus, she is completely startled when she opens the bathroom door and finds Gabo and Sam standing there, looking just as shocked and astonished as she is. Unable to contain her anger, she furiously demands to know who the woman is and Gabo introduces Gloria as his wife. His uncle and aunt support his story by telling Betchay that the two met and got married while they were in prison.
"Ibang klase ka rin, ano, Gabo? Nakakulong ka na, nakakuha ka pa ng asawa! Iba ka rin ano?" Betchay irately tells Gabo before turning to Rudy. "Anong gagawin natin dito sa anak mo? Nakapagbigay lang nang kaunti, kumuha na ng isang bungangang palalamunin?"
Gabo quickly assures her that he and Gloria are not going to be freeloaders, saying that they are willing to contribute to their household expenses and help with the chores. This prompts Betchay to confront Gabo about seemingly having no plans to move out and live independently now that he is married.
Rudy scolds Betchay for her remarks and reminds her that Gabo is his only son, making him—and any children he and Gloria may have—the sole heirs to the house they currently live in. When Betchay asks Rudy to clarify whether she understands him correctly—that she has no right to the house—Rudy tells her that if she has a problem with Gabo and Gloria staying there, they can discuss it. However, he stands firm that no one is leaving the house.
