The following day, Gabo’s (Coco Martin) family is surprised to see Gloria (Julia Montes) already awake and busy doing household chores. Aside from simply wiping the dust off their appliances and furniture, she also replaces the curtains and the dining table mantle, as well as rearranges
their living room—much to their delight, especially Rudy (Joey Marquez). She also volunteers to buy the ingredients for the meal that Mameng (Ces Quesada) is going to cook.
However, among all the things she does that morning, what truly pleases Rudy and Mameng is when Gloria calls him “Tay” (father) as she sweetly greets him with a “Happy Birthday.”
Meanwhile, Gabo suddenly springs out of bed upon realizing that Gloria is no longer beside him and runs out of his bedroom to look for her. He frantically asks his Aunt Mameng where Gloria is and learns from her and Rudy that she has offered to buy the ingredients Mameng needs for their meal.
His Uncle Dante (Julio Diaz) narrates to him what just happened, while his Aunt Mameng asks if something transpired between him and Gloria the night before that prompted her to behave that way. Gabo tells them that there's actually none, although he relays to them that they did talk the night before, during which Gloria confesses that she is already feeling shy around them.
While Mameng worries that Gloria is not really skilled in the kitchen, what concerns her more is when Gabo will finally admits the whole truth to Gloria. Gabo replies, “Tiyang, alam naman natin na delikado pa po ang buhay ni Gloria eh. Marami pa ring mga lalaking umiikot-ikot dito sa atin para hanapin po siya. Hangga't hindi ko pa po nasisigurado na ligtas na po siya, dito muna siya mananatili sa bahay natin.”
Aside from this, Rudy also reminds his son about his Nanay Betchay (Irma Adlawan), who will surely get mad once she finds out about Gloria. But Gabo vows to protect Gloria from his domineering and spiteful stepmother and not let her do anything bad to his pretend wife.
