While she is already lying in bed, Sam (Julia Montes) is perplexed when she suddenly hears meowing sounds coming from outside Gabo’s (Coco Martin) bedroom, only to discover that it is actually him making the disturbing noises. She is completely stunned when she sees him growling and making claw gestures as he enters the room, telling her that he is mimicking a fierce lion.
As Sam expresses her confusion over his totally bizarre behavior, Gabo reminds her of their conversation earlier that day about “making” a baby, after she asks him why they don’t have any children yet—and that is exactly what he is doing. Before Gabo can take off his shirt, Sam stops him and asks if they can postpone it until she is able to remember him and regain her memory. She promises that once those things happen, they can go back to how they used to be.
Gabo continues to try making his move on Sam by reminding her that she is the one who has been more eager for them to have a child, only for her to suddenly change her mind. However, that still fails to work with Sam as she still rejects his advances and vows that they can do it next time.
Despite feeling disappointed, Gabo accepts Sam decision with a smile. He tells her, "Sige, kung hindi ka pa handa. Alam mo naman kung gaano kita kamahal at saka kung gaano kita nirerespeto eh. Saka hindi naman 'yon ang habol ko sa'yo eh. [Ang] importante naman sa akin, kung saan ka masaya."
Just when Sam assumes that he has already given up, Gabo tells her to think about it again because she might just be confused and could eventually change her mind once they are both
asleep. If that happens, Gabo reminds her that she can nudge him anytime, to which Sam replies that they should go to sleep and bids him good night.
As Gabo lies beside her, he tells her that he loves her and tries again to drop hints to Sam by saying that he thought it was finally happening and that all his brushing and scrubbing would have been for nothing. Sam simply ignores him and quietly thanks God for saving her from whatever Gabo has been planning. She prays that He will continue to protect her, especially from Gabo, during her stay at their house, or else she will be forced to reveal herself to them.
Little does Sam know that Gabo is actually just teasing her and fooling around. He imagines himself telling her, “Hindi naman talaga kita pagsasamantalahan eh. Binibiro lang kita. Huwag kang mag-alala, Gloria, nirerespeto kita. Pinapangako ko sa'yo na habang nandito ka sa bahay namin, rerespetuhin kita at pakakamahalin. Sana balang araw, kapag lumabas na ang buong katotohanan, matanggap mo pa rin ako at mapatawad sa lahat ng mga nagawa ko sa'yong kasinungalingan para protektahan ka.”
