Despite wearing his usual charming smile, Lucky Star Emilio Daez couldn’t hide his nervousness as he approached the “Kapamilya, Deal Or No Deal” stage after the Lucky Wheel selected his assigned briefcase number, introducing him as the celebrity player set to go head-to-head with the Banker during the game show’s September 13 episode.
Introduced as “Mr. Bankable Achiever ng Pasig” during “Pinoy Big Brother Celebrity Collab Edition,” Emilio shared the story behind his moniker in his fun-filled opening video. Recalling his previous occupation, Emilio revealed that he worked at a bank for two years before taking a risk and entering the showbiz industry.
Looking back on his historic victory, Emilio expressed his fondness for game shows. He previously bagged the ₱1 million jackpot prize on “Rainbow Rumble,” a program also hosted by Pambansang Host Luis Manzano. As a proud foodie, Emilio enjoys eating, with chicken ranking among his favorite meals. Despite his big appetite, however, he makes sure to make up for it through consistent exercise.

When it comes to his family, Emilio eagerly shared that he is the eighth of his parents’ nine children. Wrapping up his intro video, Emilio reminded the Banker that he knows exactly how valuable investments are, but he is still willing to strike a deal with him—for the right price.
Reflecting on how he felt after being selected by the Lucky Wheel, Emilio admitted that he initially thought playing “Kapamilya, Deal Or No Deal” would be easy. He did not expect to feel as anxious as he did once he was standing on the stage.
