As soon as they finished supper, Rudy (Joey Marquez) suddenly asked Gabo (Coco Martin) what his and Gloria's (Julia Montes) plans were now—to which Gabo replied that it would depend on Gloria. While Gloria admitted that even she didn’t know yet, since she still hadn’t regained her memory, Gabo then declared that, if it were up to him, he would prefer to stay with them, since they were safe there—and the food was free, too.
Gloria then asked if they weren't planning to move out and live on their own, for she believed that once a man decided to live with his partner or get married, he should be ready to take responsibility for his family and provide for them. As Gabo was left speechless, Sam couldn’t help but silently criticize him for being lazy and dependent on his family, as well as for not having a regular, decent-paying job if he truly wanted to start a family of his own.
Gabo suddenly turned to Gloria and vowed to do everything he could to become capable of providing for her and the children they would have together, as well as to give them a comfortable life and love them with all his heart. Even though Sam had already formed a negative opinion of him, she couldn’t help but be touched and impressed by everything Gabo had just said as she couldn't believe that a selfless man like him still exists.
As Sam volunteers to help Mameng (Ces Quesada) in washing the dishes, Gabo went out of the house with Rudy (Joey Marquez) and Dante (Julio Diaz), where they talked about what just transpired during dinner. With how convincing his acting was, Rudy reminded Gabo to keep in mind that this was all just pretend and warned him not to fall in love with Gloria for real. While Dante acknowledged that Gabo’s intention to help Gloria was admirable, he also reminded his nephew that he could end up getting himself into trouble.
