After their conversation with Aling Diday (Diana Opilac), Gabo (Coco Martin) invites Sam (Julia Montes)—a.k.a. "Gloria"—to go with him as he bonds with his friends. While the guys are perfectly fine with it, Gabo's longtime admirer, Tekla (Sue Ramirez), is clearly not happy with Gloria's presence since she has been so jealous of her and Gabo.
As Gloria asks why she's jealous, Tekla furiously tells her that Gabo is hers and is immediately stopped by Binoy (Nikko Natividad) from speaking before she can blurt out things that Gloria isn't supposed to find out. She goes on to say, "Hindi hamak naman na mas maganda ako diyan, tingnan mo naman. At saka mas sexy naman ako sa'yo, 'te. Maputi ka lang at saka matangkad. Hindi kami natatakot sa'yo. Hindi ka special dito!"
Gabo calls Tekla out, prompting Gloria to excuse herself and head home as the pain from her wound starts acting up again. But before leaving, Gloria further fuels Tekla's jealousy and disgust against her by calling Gabo "mahal" and talking to him sweetly in front of her.
As she walks back to Gabo's house, Sam imagines herself telling Tekla, "Anong akala mo, pag-iinteresan ko ang lalaking 'yan? Eh mukha 'yang dugyutin, mukhang hindi naliligo, mukhang ang baho-baho. Kung gusto mo, sa'yo na!" She then gives Gabo and his friends one last look and smile before going inside.
Once Gloria is out of earshot, Gabo reprimands Tekla for her behavior. She explains that she just can't accept the thought of Gabo being another woman's husband since she has already invested so much in him ever since they were kids. Gabo reminds his friends that he's only doing this to protect Sam from imminent harm and that he will need their help to ensure her safety—as well as tells Tekla to behave herself.
