As Gabo (Coco Martin) gathers his friends outside their house to tell them about Sam's (Julia Montes) unexpected arrival at their house the night before, little do they know that she has already regained consciousness. After battling a high fever, Sam musters enough strength to get out of Gabo’s bed and quietly assess her surroundings.
Upon waking up, Sam is appalled to find herself in an unfamiliar place. She becomes even more alarmed when she spots various weapons neatly organized around the room, leading her to assume that whoever lives there is surely dangerous. She quickly grabs the gun from the bedside table, loads it with bullets, and cautiously steps out of the bedroom to find out who are the people talking outside.
As she secretly peeks through the window, Sam is stunned to see the man she accused of taking advantage of her during their first encounter—Gabo. She can’t help but feel disappointed because, of all the places she could have ended up, it's at his house where she has landed.
Sam then overhears Gabo telling his friends that her life is currently in danger as suspicious men have been lurking around their barangay looking for her, making her realize that staying there could be her safest option for now. However, as memories of the previous night flash through her mind, she knows she needs to find an escape route before the people searching for her can track her down.
Gabo, meanwhile, asserts to his friends that even though they didn't know yet the reason why she's being hunted, the most important thing for now is for them to be able to help keep her safe. Tekla (Sue Ramirez) begs to differ, fearing that they might once again become embroiled in trouble, and suggests that they turn Sam over to the authorities instead.
Mameng (Ces Quesada) and Binoy (Nikko Natividad) second Tekla's suggestion, but Rudy (Joey Marquez) sides with his Gabo. He reminds everyone not to tell anyone in the neighborhood about Sam and requests that they wait until she has fully recovered before questioning her about her predicament.
