Sam (Julia Montes) successfully keeps up her pretense of having lost her memory, prompting Gabo (Coco Martin) to lie to her in an effort to convince her to stay with them. Gabo frantically introduces himself as her husband and tells her that she is "Gloria," as she points her gun at him while asking what her name is, what she's doing there, and who Gabo is.
After recounting what happened the night before, Gabo manages to calm Sam down and convince her to lower her gun. He assures her that he will explain everything and that he would never hurt her. They then bring her to the dining area, where Sam continues to question Gabo, asking how she got her wound and whether they have any children.
Gabo lies, saying that it's something they've longed for a long time, but they simply haven't been blessed with it yet. Thus, Gabo tells her not to worry because they can try to have a baby again later that night, which totally appalled his longtime friend Tekla (Sue Ramirez), who was—at the time—eavesdropping to their conversation alongside their other barkadas. Having harbored a longtime crush on Gabo since they were kids, Tekla becomes overwhelmed with jealousy and storms into the Magtibay residence to confront him.
While Tekla makes a dramatic scene in front of them, Rudy, Mameng, and the rest of their friends play along with Gabo’s deception and help maintain the illusion that Sam is really Gloria. At Gabo’s discreet request, the tropa takes Tekla outside and explains to her that Gabo and his family are only pretending to keep Sam safe from imminent danger. However, Tekla still struggles to accept the situation, especially the idea that the man she has deeply admired for years is already somebody else's husband.
As Gabo tells “Gloria” that she is the only woman he loves and that he will love her for the rest of his life, little does he know that Sam is secretly judging every word and finds his flattery downright irritating. In her head, Sam imagines telling Gabo, "Ang kapal ng mukha nito, napakabolero! Ano’ng tingin mo? Pogi ka? Hoy, hindi ako magkakagusto sa’yo, ’no."
