As he strives to convince "Gloria" (Julia Montes) that he is indeed her husband, Gabo (Coco Martin) makes sure to shower her with tender loving care. Aside from his sweet-talking—which Sam finds irritating—Gabo feeds her pancit and follows his Aunt Mameng’s (Ces Quesada) instructions to prepare Gloria’s bath, her change of clothes, and the supplies needed to tend to her wound.
Seeing that his bedroom is a total mess, Gabo cleans it up first, clearing the debris from the section of the roof that was damaged when Sam fell onto his bed, as well as keeping her gun in a safer place. While Gabo is busy, Sam takes the opportunity to look around the house as Mameng tells her stories about Gabo’s childhood. As she peeks through the screen door, she notices the motorcycle Gabo used during one of their previous encounters parked in front of the house.
This leads her to conclude that her suspicion proves to be correct: Gabo is indeed connected to Mr. Chan (Mike Castillo) and the Zafra family. Thus, she is determined to uncover the truth and confirm it.
