Billy (Kathryn Bernardo) attentively listens to a person named Bernadette through the Love Line. As told by Bernadette, her family was hoping to reconcile with her when they found out she was about to tie the knot with her wealthy fiancé, Simon. She and Simon were having plenty of arguments over inviting her family to the upcoming wedding.
With compassion, Billy understands how Bernadette’s family is also the cause of her pain as well as that Simon’s opinion is also of great importance to her. At the end of the call, Billy explains that only Bernadette knows the solution to her dilemma and then provides her with a meaningful reminder about how second chances are gifts rather than an obligation.
A few moments later, Billy and Jordan linger outside of the office, right next to Billy’s car while having a drink. Having heard Billy’s advice earlier, Jordan wonders if Billy genuinely believes the things she shared with Bernadette, particularly when it comes to dealing with her estranged father, Enrico (Rowell Santiago).
When Billy returns the question about forgiveness, Jordan replies by saying that he is unwilling to forgive his father now, especially since he attempted to take Jordan away from his Lolo Jude (Leo Rialp). Similarly, Billy also remembers the time when the Social Welfare Commission tried to separate her and baby Oliver (Migz Casimiro) and that it was actually Jordan who helped her hide from the social workers, including Aunt Precious (Dimples Romana).
Billy insists that she can give everything to Oliver, but she won’t tell the truth about their father. Jordan then questions what might happen if Oliver eventually discovers the truth, and Billy responds by saying that she has proof to show that he is not a good person anymore.
On her phone, Billy displays the details pertaining to Enrico as the Filipino expatriate wanted for an investment fraud in Canada. It turns out that Enrico spent time behind bars alongside his mistress, and Billy suspects that he wants to reunite with them for financial reasons.
