At home, Billy (Kathryn Bernardo) and Aunt Precious (Dimples Romana) discuss Billy’s plans to file a lawsuit against the returning Enrico (Rowell Santiago) if he ever approaches her or Oliver (Migz Casimiro) again. Aware that Billy has a lot to deal with, Aunt Precious gently assures her that she is free to skip volunteering at Angels of Grace: Center for Women, but Billy insists on doing her part.
The next day, Billy proceeds with her volunteer duties along with Aunt Precious. Together, they lead a support group, in which Gelica, a pregnant woman, shared her experience. In her case, she was still hoping to be reunited with her husband, even if he cheated on her, just for their unborn child to have a complete family.
Upon hearing Gelica’s story, Billy recalls the joyful moment when her mother became pregnant with baby Oliver, and at the time they also wished for Enrico to stay with them instead of leaving to work on a boat. She also remembers the agonizing day when her father abandoned them.
Back to the support group, the therapist Lydia offers advice to Gelica, pointing out that even if there’s nothing wrong with wanting a complete family, she ought not to rush the choices she makes. On the other hand, another participant agreed with Gelica, understanding that raising a child alone isn’t easy.
Billy steps in the conversation, telling Gelica that second chances must be earned and not simply stated in words. She is also concerned that if Gelica’s husband leaves her once more, it could cause greater suffering not just for her, but for the child.
Soon afterwards, Aunt Precious approaches Billy, who was seated by the tree. She talks about how proud she is of Billy, especially since Billy didn’t allow her bitter emotions to overpower her, which was brought about by her father’s unexpected return.
Billy makes it clear that what matters most is that the abandonment she experienced shouldn’t happen to others, especially given that not all fathers are exactly like hers. Despite the fact that she’s still in emotional pain, Billy keeps fighting.
