Billy (Kathryn Bernardo), Jordan (James Reid), and Oliver (Migz Casimiro) make the trip to the park to unwind. Wanting to learn boxing for the purpose of self-defense, Oliver enthusiastically calls Billy and Jordan to the spot where other people were boxing.
Jordan continues to accompany Oliver, also introducing him to the basic techniques of boxing. Billy looks fondly at them but with a sense of worry caused by her estranged father, Enrico (Rowell Santiago), calling her the night before, after a long time of abandoning them. Unbeknownst to Billy, Enrico is also present in the park, observing them in silence.
Shortly thereafter, Billy contacts Blaire (Verna Joy Periwinkle) to swiftly address some work concerns. As Billy wanders around for a while, Oliver then raises questions about Jordan’s distant father, particularly if Jordan ever made an effort to search for him. Answering, Jordan shares how he feels much better now that his dad was no longer around.
Unpredictably, just after Billy glances at a father and daughter standing nearby, she happens to meet Enrico, who had been waiting for her outside of the store. He walks slowly towards Billy, addressing her as his child. Unnerved, Billy leaves right away, but Enrico follows her, begging her to forgive him and let him explain his absence.
She staunchly refuses to hear his words while also pleading for this moment to be their final time to interact with one another. Billy then rushes to notify Jordan about the situation, wanting to return home immediately. Soon enough, Jordan drives them home, making sure to be there for the anguished Billy.
Inside the car, Billy softly looks at the sleeping Oliver, remembering his recent birthday wish to visit their father in America, a little white lie that Billy told Oliver to protect him from the truth about their father.
