Following the moment when Charm (Mary Joy Apostol) informs Billy (Kathryn Bernardo) concerning the fake information in Abi’s (Maja Salvador) documents for application, a serious discussion comes next.
The high level of tension manifests itself in Billy’s office, where Abi is left with no option other than to make amends for fabricating her credentials. When she realizes there’s not much chance of her getting hired anymore, Abi gets desperate for Billy to give her consideration.
More importantly, Billy mentions that Abi’s previous employer learned about Abi being a victim of a fire-related accident, which apparently led to her death. Abi bursts into tears, clarifying that it wasn’t her who passed away but rather her sister. She also acknowledges her mistakes, especially the fact that she neglected to explain the actual incident to the company, as she was grieving and looking after her mother at the same time.
Even though Billy genuinely wants to help, she maintains her resolve by refusing to hire Abi. Believing that there’s no other way for Billy to support her other than by employing her, Abi kneels and pleads to take any position in Love List.
Billy then questions Abi regarding her reason for lying when she’s already skilled enough, especially during the interview. In the end, Billy makes it clear that she can’t tolerate liars and that she needs someone who can be trusted.
Before Abi completely walks away, she stares bitterly at Billy, who had her back turned.
Will Abi exact revenge on Billy? Let’s all find out in “Someone, Someday,” streaming on iWant and airing weeknights at 8:45 pm on ABS-CBN sa ALLTV2, Kapamilya Channel, TV5, A2Z, and Kapamilya Online Live (KOL).
