Actress and social media influencer Bea Borres shut down the negative comments thrown at her for using her ex-boyfriend and the father of her baby for her content. In her Facebook post, the celebrity mom expressed how she’d rather be making content with her ex-partner, Meray Yamada, than promote online gambling.
Bea recently uploaded a video with Meray where she fed him the cake that she made. The video has garnered over more than 1.5 million views on YouTube and a separate clip on Facebook amassed hundreds of thousands of reactions as of this writing.
“I’m doing this because kailangan kong pumaldo–– ayaw niya kasi mag bigay ng pera and ang tagal tagal ng karma so I’m gonna make my own karma. Pagaawayin natin sila ng babae niya joke lang,” she said in the video.
While others found the video kilig and have been asking for more videos of them in the future, other netizens and fans thought otherwise. Some of them shared that she shouldn’t be collaborating with Meray due to their past.
One of those against the content was Bea’s best friend, Andrea Brillantes, who commented on the TikTok post.
“Lahat kayo kinikilig, pwes ako hindi,” Andrea maintained.
Bea has since then defended herself as she asserted that she’s just trying to “hustle.”
“Why are u guys mad at me!!! atleast i’m not accepting online sugal 😒 mag clout chase nalang ako 😒 it’s my content, just block me nalang if u think i’m tanga!!!!” she wrote.
“If i promote sugal diba you’ll bash me rin naman, go kanya kanya na tong hustle hahahahahahahah,” she added.
After her post, the internet personality shared another video of herself and their baby as they watched the basketball game of Meray. Despite the chemistry between the two of them that her fans gushed over, Bea maintained that this is all for content.
“Gatasan lang promise,” she stated.
Bea and Meray share one child together–– Victoria Hope. She has previously opened up about being a single mother and the promise she made for their daughter.“I will love myself and I will make sure my daughter sees that I love myself so much so that she can also love herself and she can look up to me and she will have standards of what love is supposed to be,” she previously expressed.
