Actress Andrea Brillantes ]shared her reaction to a TikTok video that appeared to ship and tease her close friend Bea Borres and her former boyfriend, Meray Yamada, following their recent reunion.
Meray is the father of Bea’s daughter, Victoria Hope, whom she affectionately calls Hopea.
The former couple recently appeared together in a five-minute “bonus clip” from Bea’s latest vlog, which she later reposted on Facebook. Their playful interaction quickly caught the attention of viewers, hoping that they would eventually reconcile.
However, Bea herself made it clear that she and Meray are not co-parenting, emphasizing that their reunion was primarily made for content and engagement.
In the same clip, Bea teased Meray for “enjoying the clout” and reposting edited videos of himself.
Later, that teasing scene was reposted by a netizen on TikTok, adding screenshots of Meray’s reposted clips.
The TikTok video has since reached 4.9 million views, with viewers sharing their excitement over Bea and Meray’s interaction.
Andrea, however, did not appear to share the same sentiment.
The actress, who has been one of Bea’s closest friends, left a comment on the TikTok video expressing that she was not joining those who were shipping the former couple.
“Lahat kayo kinikilig, pwes ako hindi,” Andrea maintained.
“Ma-uninterested na nga lahat ng ganitong content sa fyp (for you page) ko,” she added.
When the TikTok video creator responded, “ay ayun award,” Andrea clarified that her comment was not directed toward the person who made the edit.
“No shade to the editor or anyone really. Idk (I don’t know) bye,” she wrote.
Andrea’s comments have since appeared to be deleted, but screenshots of the exchange were circulated online.

While some viewers welcomed the idea of Bea and Meray reuniting for content, others understood why some of her longtime supporters were not comfortable with the shipping narrative, particularly those who followed her experience throughout her pregnancy.
“I agree with Blythe, walang nakakakilig sa totoo lang, knowing na super naghirap si bea sa pagbubuntis,” one netizen commented.
“Kinikilig kayo diyan? Nakakagigil kaya. Lol. Like for real. If you truly follow the life of Bea B from when she found out she’s pregnant, until her baby was born, malalaman niyo yung hugot naming supporters niya why we hated that content,” another added.
As of this writing, Bea has not publicly responded to Andrea’s comments.
Meanwhile, Andrea has been one of the friends who have remained by Bea’s side throughout her journey into motherhood.
In Bea’s pregnancy announcement vlog in August 2025, she admitted feeling nervous about becoming a mother. Andrea offered reassurance as she supported her friend through the emotional moment.
“Huwag ka kabahan. Nandito ako para sa’yo, Bea,” Andrea told her while crying.
When Bea felt lonely during a prenatal check-up in November, she messaged her friend. Just 15 minutes later, Andrea arrived at the clinic to be with her.
Andrea also covered the cost of Bea’s check-up and later took her on a spontaneous shopping trip.
Bea captured the sweet moment on video and jokingly told Andrea: “Your baby's dad is Andrea Brillantes.”
Even after giving birth, Andrea was present by her friend’s side, accompanying her as she navigated motherhood.
For now, Bea and Meray remain separated. The actress-content creator has also been clear that they are not co-parenting, and their recent appearance was just for engagement.
