Bea Borres and her former boyfriend Meray Yamada recently appeared together in a candid clip, but she made one thing clear from the beginning: their reunion does not mean they are co-parenting their daughter, Victoria Hope.
The former couple’s unexpected interaction was featured as a “bonus clip” in Bea’s latest vlog, which she later reposted on Facebook and quickly caught the attention of netizens.

Before bringing Meray into the frame, Bea immediately gave a disclaimer behind their reunion.
“I’m still not co-parenting, okay?” she maintained.
Bea then candidly admitted that she decided to film with Meray partly because their interactions tend to generate strong engagement online.
“I’m doing this because kailangan kong pumaldo,” she said, joking that if even one clip from their reunion becomes trending, she could use it to create more content.
Among the content ideas she suggested were a co-parenting vlog and even a lie detector test challenge.
When Meray finally appeared, Bea continued to make light of the situation while referencing their difficult past.
“Nandidilim na naman ‘yung paningin ko, naririnig ko na siya...You know why I’m doing this? Because you don’t want to give me money. Eh malakas ‘yung engagements pag kasama ka eh. Gagatasin na lang kita. You ruined my peace when I was pregnant,” she told him.

Bea also joked about Meray supposedly having other women and teased that their video might make them jealous. Meray, however, denied the claim.
“I don’t have babae,” Meray responded.
The playful exchange continued as Bea had Meray taste a cake she had baked herself. Since he was on a diet, she gave him several spoonfuls.
When Meray asked if the cake contained poison, Bea jokingly replied: “Sana nga eh.”
She later offered him another bite while teasing: “Para mag-away kayo ng babae mo.”
Meray admitted that their reunion was unexpected and that he had no idea what Bea had planned. Bea then revealed that she intentionally kept the vlog's concept from him so he would not have the chance to decline.
“Pag kumita ‘to, gagatasan kita because you don’t want to give me money,” she said, once again joking about turning their interaction into more content.
But amid the playful exchange, Bea reiterated that their appearance together should not be mistaken for a change in their arrangement.
“We’re not co-parenting and I’m still not going to co-parent with you after this...for the video lang. Know your place,” she said.
Bea eventually included her daughter Victoria Hope, whom she fondly calls Hopea, in the interaction. The three of them briefly appeared together and smiled at the camera. She then asked her followers if they wanted to see more videos featuring both of them.
“Hashtag cloutchaser. Hashtag this guy does not want to give me money,” Bea joked.
Meray also had a brief interaction with their daughter during the vlog, with Bea being vocal about not wanting Hopea to call Meray as her “daddy.”
Their unexpected reunion naturally prompted mixed reactions from viewers. Some found their playful exchanges entertaining, while others admitted feeling kilig seeing the former couple together again.
However, Bea's own comments made the nature of the reunion clear: she and Meray are not co-parenting. Their appearance together was specifically for the vlog and the engagement it could generate.
During her interview with Boy Abunda in May, Bea revealed that they had attempted to live together for their daughter but eventually realized that their arrangement was not working.
“Tito Boy, I tried. Pinakita ko, nagsama kami, nag-acting kami na para kaming pamilya. Pero bumalik lahat ng sakit. When I was pregnant, wala talagang anything tapos ngayon, kahit sabihin ko na 'ayoko, ikaw mag adjust for me' nag-expect pa rin ako na he would try. Nakalabas na daughter namin, pero wala talaga,” Bea said.
She also explained that Meray’s mother has been involved in caring for their daughter.
When Tito Boy asked whether she is co-parenting with Meray, she gave a straightforward response: “I’m co-parenting with his mom.”
In another interview in 2025, Bea said that she and Meray had been together for only about a month when they found out she was pregnant. At the time, she said their relationship was already “kind of rocky,” and they eventually separated before she publicly announced her pregnancy.
The vlogger-mom gave birth to Hopea in December last year.
Reflecting on her strength and confidence as a single mother, Bea decided for Hopea to carry her mother’s surname, as seen in her daughter’s certificate of live birth posted last January.
