Boom Esports has completed a dream run in the lower bracket of The International 2025 Southeast Asian qualifiers.
The squad of Armel "Armel" Tabios, Timothy "Tims" Randrup, and Jaunuel "Jaunuel" Arcilla has made it to Dota's biggest stage, as it dashed Flipster Talon's Aegis hopes, denying its reverse-sweep bid in the lower bracket final 2-1 to qualify for The International on Tuesday.
Armel, Tims, and Jaunuel will join five-man Pinoy stack Team Nemesis at the the Germany event, making it a total of eight Pinoys at the esports competition.

After falling to eventual champion Nemesis, Boom had to overcome Castawake, Ivory, Execration, and now Talon.
Talon was their toughest rival, having been the podium finisher in the recent DreamLeague Season 26 and the highest-performing SEA squad to date.
But against the odds, the Pinoy trio, as well as Souliya "JaCkky" Khoomphetsavong from Laos and Anucha "Jabz" Jirawong from Thailand, made it to reignite their dreams of claiming the Aegis.

For their part, Carlo "Kuku" Palad's team will see action again on the Esports World Cup in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
