MANILA — Flipster Talon has officially qualified for the Esports World Cup 2025, cementing its status as one of the better teams in the Dota 2 scene.
Carlo "Kuku" Palad and company achieved this by securing at least a fourth-place result in the ongoing $1-million DreamLeague Season 26.

With this, the Filipino Dota 2 community is assured of at least one representation in the EWC 2025.
Kuku will be joined by Nuengnara "23savage" Teeramahanon, Rafli "Mikoto" Fathur Rahman, Chung "Ws" Wei Shen, and Tri "Jhocam" Kuncoro in the Riyadh-based tournament with a $3-million prize pool.
Talon's campaign in the DreamLeague is still alive and well, as they contend with Russian esports organization BetBoom Team on Friday night (Manila time) for a spot in the upper bracket final.

Should they lose, Kuku and his team still has a chance to advance to the grand final through the lower bracket.
Whatever their placement is, this already marks the best placement by a SEA team in a long while.
