MANILA – Flipster Talon put up a good fight against CIS Dota 2 team Parivision, but the Southeast Asian team's efforts weren't enough as it absorbed a 1-2 loss to open its Group Stage 2 campaign in the DreamLeague Season 26 on Saturday morning (Manila time).
After winning Game 1, the team had failed to regain momentum as the Alan "Satanic" Gallyamov-paced squad outlasted Carlo "Kuku" Palad and company in the next two games.
Satanic's almost clean 11-2-7 performance on his Terrorblade helped Parivision secure Game 3, as the Talon side was not able to bank on Nuengnara "23savage" Teeramahanon's farmed Gyrocopter during a fight around the Roshan pit at the 38-minute mark.

Tides could have been turned if they managed to finish off Volodymyr "No[o]ne-" Minenko's Storm Spirit during that clash, but the midlaner managed to escape, eventually claiming the lives of the Gyrocopter and other Talon heroes.
Parivision forced the good games out of Talon as it pushed the SEA squad's ancient at the 41-minute mark of the match.
Still, hopes are not lost as Talon aims to bounce back against Gaimin Gladiators, scheduled for today, May 24 (Manila time).
