MANILA – Flipster Talon's Cinderella run at DreamLeague Season 26 has come to an end.
The Southeast Asian squad, captained by Pinoy Dota star Carlo "Kuku" Palad, has bowed out of the playoffs after losing to BetBoom Team, 1-2 in the lower bracket final of the $1-million tournament on Sunday night (Manila time).
Still, it was a great run for the crew, helping SEA region leave its mark on the international esports map.
The Esports World Cup-bound Talon had its highlights, including a dominant Map 2 for Chung "Ws" Wei Shen's Axe and Nuengnara "23savage" Teeramahanon's Tiny.

But Ilya "Kiritych" Ulyanov's Ursa was too much to handle for Talon in the clinching match, who had a bullish 14-0-7 kill-death-assist performance as BetBoom took on the map.
Talon players will take home $80,000, while the club has bagged $25,000 in prizes.
