MANILA — Tropical Storm Pilandok, with international name Krovanh, exited the Philippine area of responsibility at 4:30 a.m. Thursday, according to PAGASA.
At 4 a.m., it was located 1,030 kilometers east northeast of Extreme Northern Luzon.
It has maximum sustained winds of 75 kilometers per hour with gustiness up to 90 kph and is moving northwestward at 20 kph.
Pilandok may follow a looping track over the Ryukyu Islands of southern Japan, but is less likely to re-enter the PAR.
Meanwhile, Tropical Storm Saudel over the northern West Philippine has also slightly intensified.
At 3 a.m., it was located 460 kilometers northwest of Itbayat, Batanes.
It packs winds of 75 kph with gusts up to 90 kph and is moving north northeastward at 15 kph.
Saudel will also move in a looping track west of Taiwan before making landfall over southern China.
Both Pilandok and Saudel will continue to pull the southwest monsoon or Habagat, which affects Luzon and Visayas.
Significant rains may be expected over the western section of Luzon, shifting southward going into the weekend:

The weather bureau warned the public of the risk of flooding and landslides in these areas.
Metro Manila and areas surrounding the aforementioned provinces may also have scattered rains from the Habagat.
On the other hand, most of Visayas and Mindanao will continue to experience very warm and dry conditions, although isolated rain showers or thunderstorms may be likely in the afternoon or evening in some areas.
The low pressure area far east of the country is now unlikely to develop into a tropical depression and may eventually dissipate.
At 2 a.m., it was located 2,560 kilometers east of Northern Luzon, outside the PAR.
