Miss Universe Philippines 2025 Ahtisa Manalo has released her Beyond the Crown video, putting the spotlight on education as her chosen advocacy through Alon Akademie, an educational non-profit that aims to “empower the youth to shape their future.”
In the two-minute video, Ahtisa reflects on the state of education, saying:
“We prepare workers, but rarely leaders. We train minds, but not always hearts.”
She presents global statistics on education and points out that in the Philippines, there remains an abundance of untapped potential among the youth.
Together with her partner organization Alon Akademie, Ahtisa hopes to help “build ideas, collaborate with start-ups, and turn imagination into innovation.”
“The future belongs to those who prepare for it,” she says. “And they are waiting for us to lead them there.”
Ahtisa also encouraged her supporters to cast their votes online, noting that 50% of the competition’s criteria will come from public voting.
