PASAY CITY — A distinct, restless energy settles over the lobby of the Newport Performing Arts Theater (NPAT) when the pageant world comes to town. Flashbulbs catch the luster of freshly polished sashes, supporters cluster in hushed anticipation, and the air carries the familiar hum of an industry that never truly rests.
On Thursday, September 10, the ALV Pageant Circle, led by Arnold L. Vegafria, took over the NPAT Vestibule from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. for a marathon four-part press briefing — a sprawling afternoon session bridging new campaign rollouts, international triumphs, and a formal homecoming.
ALV revealed the offiicial launching and staging of Miss Tourism International in the country on December 15.
The gathering opened with Vegafria outlining the upcoming international staging of the Miss Tourism International.
"We officially announce our partnership with Miss Tourism International, which aligns with ALV Pageant Circle's advocacy for tourism promotion," Vegafria shared.
The ALV Pageant Circle president further revealed that the Philippines will host the 2026 edition of the pageant at NPAT on December 16.

From there, the room’s energy quickly shifted to celebrate a fresh global victory. Fresh off her August 30 coronation in Bali, Indonesia, newly minted Miss Interglobal 2026 Margarette Briton took center stage to reflect on her dominant run abroad.
Beyond capturing the top crown, Briton swept four special awards — Star Connect, Social Impact, National Costume Excellence, and the Dinner Dress Award — solidifying the Philippines' formidable reputation on the international stage.
The focus then pivoted to the male pageantry circuit with a formal press presentation for Mr. World Philippines 2026 Aaron Beau Davis. The Albay, Bicol native, who captured the title during the national finals last August 2, leads a new generation of kings under the ALV banner.
Beside him stood the inaugural roster of Mister Island Philippines 2026 titleholders: Logan De Leon Culp (Mister Universe Philippines), Christan Manalo (Mister Tourism Philippines), Jesus Guinto (Mister Glam International Philippines), Alex Herberich (Mister Interglobal Philippines), Wendell Oliver Pamfilo (Mister Model International Philippines), and Raymond Paris Cabuco (Mister Globe Philippines).

Wrapping up the afternoon was Asia Rose Simpson’s homecoming briefing, following her Top 12 finish at the Miss World 2026 finals in Vietnam on September 5. Simpson mounted a strong campaign throughout the pre-pageant activities, emerging as a finalist across five fast-track events: sports, head-to-head, top model, talent, and Beauty With a Purpose.
After placing third in talent and winning the continental head-to-head challenge to lock in a Top 40 spot, Simpson advanced directly into the Top 20 on final night as the overall global winner of the head-to-head fast track.

The Head-to-Head challenge was initially Simpson’s least favorite part of the competition, but she said she eventually came to appreciate it as an opportunity to develop her public speaking skills and connect with people through the Miss World platform.
"At the end of the day, as a beauty queen, we aren’t just there to perform. We aren’t just there to be admired, but to make connections," Simpson stressed when reflecting on her speeches.
Bringing together new campaign launches, international wins, and male pageantry titles under one roof, Thursday's four-part event offered a comprehensive overview of ALV's current slate across the national and global pageant circuits.
