Lucky Star Emilio couldn’t mask his nerves behind his warm smile as he anxiously stood on the “Kapamilya, Deal Or No Deal” stage after the Lucky Wheel stopped at his assigned briefcase, number 3, naming him the celebrity player chosen to test his luck in the game show’s September 13 episode.
Recalling his experience of working at a bank for two years before venturing into the showbiz industry, Emilio explained in his Introduction video the moniker he earned when he joined “Pinoy Big Brother Celebrity Collab Edition.” Aside from being recognized as “Mr. Bankable Achiever ng Pasig,” Emilio was also known for taking home the ₱1-million cash prize from the game show “Rainbow Rumble.”

When host Luis Manzano asked Emilio how he spent the ₱1-million jackpot he won, Emilio excitedly shared that he used a portion of the money to plan a trip to Korea with his close friends, while setting aside the rest of his winnings for investments. Feeling “left out” after not even receiving an invitation to join the trip, the Pambansang Host hilariously expressed his frustration with Emilio, jokingly wishing that every briefcase Emilio opened would contain only ₱1.

Determined to secure the ₱1-million jackpot for the second time, the celebrity contestant decided to trust his gut and stick with his original briefcase, number three. Choosing to open Migs Bustos’ briefcase first, Emilio was delighted to discover that it contained only ₱5,000.
Emilio continued to enjoy a string of lucky results throughout the rest of his opening round, receiving an initial offer of ₱90,000 from the Banker after eliminating ₱200, ₱300, ₱500, and ₱50,000 from the money board. Entering the second round with much more confidence, however, his streak of opening low-value briefcases came to an end when he discovered the ₱1-million prize in Pepay’s briefcase. Despite the early setback, he managed to eliminate ₱25, ₱50, and ₱100 in the same round, earning a ₱33,000 offer from the Banker.
After getting rid of most of the low-value cash prizes, Emilio began opening briefcases containing six-digit amounts, starting with the ₱100,000 prize in Mauro Lumba’s briefcase and followed by the ₱500,000 amount in Kim Rodriguez’s. By the seventh round, only one six-digit amount remained on the money board after he said goodbye to the ₱125,000 in Jannah Alanise’s briefcase.
In the final round, Emilio breathed a sigh of relief after opening Crisha Uy’s briefcase and finding ₱1,000 inside, leaving only ₱1 and ₱250,000 on the money board. Faced with the difficult decision of either accepting the Banker’s final offer of ₱96,000 or testing his luck for the ₱250,000 prize, Emilio took a bold risk and rejected the deal.
His gamble ultimately paid off when his original briefcase was revealed to contain ₱250,000. Expressing his gratitude for the opportunity to play, Emilio happily told Luis, “It’s really an honor to do these game shows with you. Of all people, the best host in the industry. … I hope this is not the last time we will work together.”
