Nobody saw this ship coming, but we're definitely not complaining.
Ryan Bang is the resident jokester and the one in charge of bringing in questions for contestants on "It's Showtime" segments, such as on the current season of “Miss Q and A,” where actress-model Max Collins is one of the regular judges.
As the episodes rolled on, the hosts and Madlang People noticed the pair's playful chemistry, thanks to their lighthearted banter, which Kapamilya Update compiled in this video.
One of the first episodes that started this 'fantasy' was when Vice Ganda noticed Max couldn't take her eyes off Ryan. Max laughed it off and explained that Ryan had been avoiding her, leading the hosts to jokingly conclude that he was probably just trying to dodge getting recruited into her reels. It's because Max has made it a trademark to film a content with the "It's Showtime" hosts after every guesting.
So, a few episodes later, Vice Ganda herself updated Max that Ryan agreed to join her short videos. Max was thrilled, so much so she celebrated with a pickup line where she called Ryan "cute," leaving the "oppa" smiling from ear to ear.
And because of their adorable chemistry, Ryan and Max got their own scene in the "You Gotta Lyric" round of "Laro Laro Pick" where the hosts act out skits using song lyrics as dialogue. Jugs Jugueta was heard teasing Ryan for blushing throughout the scene.
In another episode, Max got the playful banter going by throwing a pickup line Ryan's way, "Keyboard ka ba? Type kasi kita." Ryan then surprised everyone by matching Max's energy with, "Malamok ba d'yan? Baka kailangan mo ng katol... katol-ad ko."
Here's another 'havey' exchange between the two. Max opened the ‘kulitan’ with, "Password ka ba? Hindi kasi kita makalimutan." Of course, Ryan didn't want to be outdone so he fired back, "YouTube ka ba? Kasi I want YouTu-be-mine!"
Ryan seems a little possessive lately, as he compares Max to a secret he doesn't want to share. The 'banat' left Max speechless and she could only say, "Can you be mine?" Ryan got so carried away by the moment that he casually replied, "Sure!"—and forgot the joke he had prepared for the segment.
