A documentary chronicling the career of Thai pop star Lisa, who rose to fame as a member of K-pop sensation Blackpink, is set for theatrical release worldwide in October.
LLOUD, which manages Lisa's solo activities, announced Wednesday that the documentary, "Always Lalisa," was "coming to cinemas & IMAX worldwide for a limited time, starting October 12."
Tickets go on sale beginning September 9, with more details available on the documentary's website, according to LLOUD.
Set to premiere at the 2026 Toronto International Film Festival this month, "Always Lalisa" follows Lisa "during a transformative year away from Blackpink," according to a synopsis on the documentary's website.
The synopsis read: "As the group pauses activities, Lisa embarks on the first true chapter of her solo career, confronting the question of who she is beyond Blackpink."
"The film follows Lisa as she writes, records, and releases her debut solo album, 'Alter Ego,' makes her acting debut in the third season of 'The White Lotus,' and prepares for her first major solo performance at the 2025 Coachella Music Festival," it added.
Lisa put out "Alter Ego" in February 2025, during a period when she and her Blackpink bandmates were focused on their solo activities before reuniting in July for their "Deadline" world tour.

Ahead of the EP's release, Lisa will drop the pre-release single "SaWaDiKa" on September 4.
Lisa, whose full name is Lalisa Manobal, debuted in 2016 as a member of Blackpink, one of K-pop's most popular all-female acts known for songs such as "Ddu-Du Ddu-Du," "Kill This Love" and "How You Like That."
The quartet made its comeback in February with the EP "Deadline," followed by a celebration of its 10th anniversary, during which the members held a meet-and-greet with fans in Seoul.
