MANILA -- Actor-singer Khalil Ramos returned to Dreamscape Entertainment with a mix of excitement and nerves, joining Sharon Cuneta, Barbie Forteza and John Estrada in the family drama series “Honor Thy Mother.”
Ramos said working with some of the industry’s veteran actors initially made him overthink his performance, but the warm atmosphere on set soon put him at ease.
"Noong tinanggap ko ang project na ito admittedly kinakabahan talaga ako hindi lang dahil sa first project ko ito with Dreamscape in so long. Kumbaga makakatrabaho ko ulit 'yung mga taong nakatrabaho ko noong nagsimula ako," Ramos said in an interview with ABS-CBN News.
Ramos shared that all his fears melted away after he started taping for the series after the cast and production warmly welcomed him.
"Hindi lang 'yon, kung hindi I'm working with some of the best actors in industry -- Ms. Sharon Cuneta, Ms. Barbie, si Kuya John (Estrada). As in I really had to bring my a game. As in sobrang in-overthink ko only to experience pagdating ko sa set lahat ng anxiety ko sobrang it was completely gone dahil I felt so accepted, hindi lang as an actor but as a person. 'Yung mga kasama ko grabe, sobra silang genuine, some of the best people I've ever encountered, super the best 'yung experience ko so far," Ramos said.
Ramos echoed Cuneta's words that they have a "super happy set."
"Hindi lang kami happy, lagi kaming busog. Ang saya-sayang magtrabaho at pumasok sa trabaho na sila ang kasama mo. Super happy set," Ramos said.
In the family drama series, Ramos plays Enzo, the chief-of-staff of Diana Aragon (Cuneta), the mother of Patricia (Forteza).
