MANILA — “Sigabo” takes its kilig to new heights as Sam (Julia Montes) lands in Ginintuang Lupa — literally.

In the episode, Sam falls from the roof of the house where Gabo (Coco Martin) is resting, landing straight in his arms.

According to Montes, she performed the scene herself without a stunt double.

Dream come true for me. Ang sarap sa feeling na na-empower ka na kaya ng babae gumalaw, hindi lang puro sampalan,” Montes said in an interview.

The Kapamilya stars revealed the rooftop scene was Martin’s idea as he wanted to highlight Montes’ range not only as an actress but also as an action performer.

The actor said the team is determined to raise the bar after their experience working on “FPJ’s Batang Quiapo.”

Viewers can expect more action and more kilig as their relationship continues to unfold while Gabo tries to protect Sam in the coming episodes.
