MANILA — Kapamilya stars Donny Pangilinan and Belle Mariano departed for Hong Kong on Sunday morning to lead the international screenings and promotional campaign of their latest box-office hit “Tayo Sa Wakas.”
Direct from its local success, the film officially opens in Hong Kong cinemas on Sunday, alongside its ongoing global and nationwide run. Upon their arrival, the phenomenal love team is scheduled to head straight to the theaters to surprise fans in special international screenings.
“Kapamilya, we are on our way to Hong Kong, so magkita-kita po tayo diyan! Keep spreading the word, it's never too late to watch ‘Tayo Sa Wakas’,” Belle said.
“Sobrang excited kami makita kayo lahat and we can't wait for you to see the film. Mahal na mahal namin kayo—more and more and more,” Donny added.

The international tour comes after the announcement that the movie has breached the P110-million mark in total gross revenue as of June 19.
“Thank you so much, guys. This is something that we’ve been praying for talaga and grabe, really, it’s such an achievement, so maraming, maraming salamat,” Belle said of the feat.
“Sa bansa natin, 'di ba ang daming nangyayari... Pero they still took the time out to see this film... two hours away from their day to spend to see us in theaters. We’re just super grateful and we could not ask for anything else,” Donny added.

Before boarding their flight, a crowd of supporters gathered at NAIA Terminal 3 around 3 a.m. on Sunday to send the pair off. The love team extended their deep appreciation to both local and international fans for the continuous success of the film.
“We’re finally bringing the film to Hong Kong. We’re just really grateful,” Belle said.
“Grateful, excited, first out of the country promo rin namin ni Bellinda. Primary focus talaga namin is to meet our Kababayans, mga OFW, at 'yung mga nakatira roon. I’m just glad we get to share the story with them,” Donny added.

For those who have yet to catch "Tayo Sa Wakas," the onscreen partners teased that the film is dedicated to everyone who has loved, continues to love, or is still waiting to fall in love.
“Hopefully after you watch this film, it encourages you to fall in love again,” Belle shared.
“And fall in love the right way kasi ang dami mong puwedeng makita sa scenarios dito sa pelikula—‘yung gusto mo mangyari sa relationship ninyo at ‘yung mga ayaw mo ring mangyari,” Donny added.

They also extended their appreciation to everyone from ABS-CBN Studios and Star Cinema who were involved in producing the hit film.
“It took so much time, effort, planning, going around, blood, sweat, and tears just to come up with this, and the fact that we still see people watching even here locally sa mga cinema natin, it just makes everything super worth it,” the actor mentioned.
