Kapamilya singer and songwriter Angela Ken expressed her excitement as she is weeks away from holding her biggest show to date, Angela Ken: Panahon Na Natin, happening on October 18 at the New Frontier Theater in Quezon City. During the media conference for her upcoming show, she shared the plans they have for the show and what her fans can expect from her.

Angela recalled the time when she was told that she’ll be holding her concert at the New Frontier Theater. She admitted how she was in disbelief about it, but said she was ready as she has been praying for it.
“Speechless po talaga ako noon kase parang di po ako makapaniwala na totoo po ba? Pagkakatiwala niyo na po sa'kin? I mean, I've been praying for this to happen and it's just so nice na kapag yung prayer mo talaga parang it's happening–– it's really happening,” she said.
“Nung sinabi po nila sakin na magco-concert na po ako, I just felt na I'm ready. Yun nga, pinagtibay ng panahon and it was such a perfect timeline na ibinigay kasi panahon yung nirelease na EP and it talks about the journey of my life, of everyone's life, so it's a perfect timing po talaga,” she added.
When asked why they decided to name her concert Angela Ken: Panahon Na Natin, the singer-songwriter maintained that it isn’t just her journey but rather everyone that helped her achieve her dreams.

“I'm just a piece of the puzzle, parang, ako lang po yung front na pinapakita pero there's a lot of people behind me that place themselves in that puzzle and we all made the perfect harmony, that's why we're here,” she asserted.
Angela is hopeful that her fans could enjoy the moment as they escape reality together even just for a few hours. For her, the upcoming concert is a safe space that she wants her fans to experience.
“When we are in a show, parang gusto natin makalimutan mo yung mga problema natin, yung reality ng buhay. But at the same time, gusto ko po siguro, emosyon and iuwi ng mga tao kapag natapos na po yung concert is for them to realize how beautiful reality is,” she ended.
