V, a member of the K-pop supergroup BTS, has revealed that he is receiving treatment for a hearing problem in one ear, according to reports.
The 30-year-old idol, whose real name is Kim Tae-hyung, made the revelation during a livestream on the fan community platform Weverse on Wednesday, Yonhap News Agency reported.
If V's left ear has 100-percent hearing, his right ear is at just 30 percent, the singer said, adding that his hearing began to deteriorate about two-and-a-half years ago.
He continues to take medication and visit the hospital regularly for treatment.
In the same livestream, bandmate Jungkook also disclosed that he has been dealing with an injury near his shin, which he said he would manage carefully so he can continue performing during the group's ongoing "Arirang" world tour.
