MANILA -- K-pop star Sandara "Dara" Park is back in the Philippines to take a break.
Park shared her arrival in the country through a social media post on Monday night.
The 2NE1 member captioned her post with words: "I’m home 🌴."
Based on the photos she uploaded, the Philippines' "Pambansang Krung Krung" is back in the country with her friends for a vacation.
Park has never forgotten her Filipino roots even after launching a successful K-pop career that catapulted her to global fame. From time to time, Park comes back to the Philippines, which she considers her second home.
In her previous post, Park shared that her love for the Philippines is the reason why she keeps on coming back.

Park rose to fame in the Philippines after joining ABS-CBN’s reality talent competition "Star Circle Quest" in 2004, which launched her acting and singing career.
In 2009, she debuted as a member of 2NE1, one of K-pop's most influential girl groups, credited with diversifying the image of female acts in the South Korean idol industry and popularizing the "girl crush" concept.
In November 2024, Park went to the Philippines with her 2NE1 bandmates for the group's reunion tour.
