Actress Gee Canlas revealed that she has already parted ways with her husband, Archie Alemania. In an interview with King of Talk Boy Abunda on March 3, she gave a brief explanation about how it happened and why she decided to separate from the actor.
Gee and Archie tied the knot back in 2018 in a garden wedding in Sta. Rosa, Laguna. They share one child, Caleb.

“Hiwalay na ba kayo ni Archie Alemania?” Boy asked directly.
“Yes po,” she quickly answered.
This confirmation comes after speculations of their separation sparked on social media following her post referring to herself as a “solo parent.”
In the interview, she admitted how difficult the decision was for her to make. She explained how she had to weigh things in her life to reach the choice to part ways with her husband.
“So I confirmed that we’re not together anymore, but that was not a decision that I took lightly. It’s not something na parang on a whim, ginawa nalang, or nag decide nalang ng ganun. I made sure that I was at a point in my life na I was weighing already what matters most in my life kaya tayo nandito ngayon,” she shared.
“Very, very hard kasi pangarap ko talaga magka-family so that was my life. For me to weigh on that na to move forward and put an end to that is something that I’m still processing until today,” she added.
Gee then revealed that it wasn’t a mutual decision and it was her who initiated it.
“I left. I was the one who left the marriage,” she maintained.

When asked what she regretted the most, she candidly shared that she should’ve left earlier and listened to herself as she revealed that she was losing herself in the process of keeping it together.
“I should’ve left earlier. I should’ve listened to myself, na parang feeling ko nauubos na. I'm a very colorful person, I'm a very goofy person, over the years parang nawala," she said
“If there’s one thing I regret, it’s not having a family, it’s not being married, it’s probably knowing when it should’ve stopped–– when I should’ve left,” she continued.
Archie has yet to give a response as of this writing.
