Kapuso actress Rita Daniela revealed that she underwent multiple therapy sessions after what happened between her and Archie Alemania over a year ago. She had filed a complaint in 2024 after the actor allegedly sexually violated her and made several inappropriate remarks during a ride home.
Rita recently won the case that she filed against Archie and the latter has been sentenced to up to one year of jail time and fees of ₱20,000 in civil indemnity and ₱20,000 in moral damages.

She shared that she is doing much better compared to when everything was still fresh about a year ago. She stressed that she had to be okay for her son, Uno, as she was taking care of him.
“I’m doing so much better and it’s not easy to be in this position now. As much as I want to give time for myself na wag sana magmadali, pero I have to kasi I have Uno. Hindi naman pwedeng ganun nalang ako forever–– pinilit ko maging okay,” she expressed.
Rita then shared how she needed to undergo therapy back then for her to be doing fine today. She explained that talking to friends and her family wasn’t enough to heal her from the pain that was given to her.

“I’ve had therapies, I went back to therapies actually. Hindi siya basta lang sabihin mo na kumausap lang ako ng kaibigan o kasama ko lang yung pamilya ko. Kailangan kong pagdaanan yun para malagpasan ko at makapunta ako kung nasaan ako ngayon,” she explained.
Previously, Rita expressed on her Instagram account how grateful she is that she won the case she filed against Archie. She dedicated her win to all the victims of harassment that didn’t have the chance to fight for themselves.
“The justice I received today is not just for me. This is also for all the women and men who were abused, harassed, and molested that didn’t have the voice and platform to fight for their own rights. So, I am celebrating this justice with you. Today, we all won. We won. God loves us,” she previously shared.
