Call Me Mother star Nadine Lustre spoke candidly about love, relationships, and marriage during her recent guest appearance on Vice Ganda’s vlog, where she opened up about her relationship with partner Christophe Bariou.

During their conversation at Disneyland, Nadine shared that she feels confident and secure in her current relationship, even describing Christophe as her Prince Charming.

For me, ang hirap makahanap ng katulad niya,” she added.

Nadine said she feels a strong sense of certainty with Christophe, noting that it is rare to find someone like him. Because of this, she is open to the idea of marriage if the timing is right.

“Siguro. Kung mangyayari, eh di go,” Nadine told Vice.

When asked about her dream wedding, Nadine clarified that she does not envision a grand church ceremony. Instead, she prefers a simple and intimate celebration: “Gusto ko lang by the lake, by the ocean with close friends tapos after noon party lang kayo. Ganoon lang kasimple. Hindi ako nagdream talaga ng malaking wedding.”

The actress also reflected on how her views on marriage have changed over the years. While she once imagined settling down in her early 20s, she admitted that she is still enjoying her life and personal growth in her 30s.

Nadine described her relationship with Christophe as one built on security, independence, and mutual growth. She shared that they continue to work on themselves individually while also growing together.

“Kami kasi we are both focused on working on ourselves di,n meaning na nagro-grow pa kami separately and we are growing together kasi may businesses kami together and marami pa kaming gustong marating,” Nadine added. “Yung ganoong klaseng relationship ayon talaga yung magwo-work kasi kunyare pag lalabas ako or lalabas siya mamaya may ano.

“(Oo) before pero ngayon sobrang iba. Ngayon, may mga times na napaparanoid pa rin ako but not because of the relationship.,” she remarked.

Sharing the biggest lesson she has learned in love, Nadine emphasized the importance of self-prioritization and balance.

“Unahin mo ang sarili, no matter what happens kahit gaano mo kamahal yung partner mo.

“Ang narealize ko with this relationship is balanse talaga kami na parang we fill each other’s glasses.”

Nadine also addressed the idea of begging someone to stay in a relationship. While she values self-respect, she admitted that for the right person, she would be willing to fight for the relationship. According to her, some love stories are worth the risk.
