Nadine Lustre revealed the actor she hopes to work with in a future project.
In an interview with MJ Felipe in Cinema One's The B Side, Nadine named Pepe Herrera as someone she wants to collaborate with in the future. She also relayed that she is fan of the actor.
"Gusto ko [maka-work] si Pepe Herrera, si kuya Pepe. Sobrang fan niya ako, as in. Isa sa mga favorite local film ko is 'yung Ang Pangarap Kong Holdap and he is also a good friend," she said. "Total nag-comedy na naman ako ng slight, tuloy na natin."
Aside from comedy, the Call Me Mother star also shared that she wants to explore doing an action project in the future. "Like full on action. I'm down... 'Yung magte-traning naman ako for something.”
When asked if she is open to doing international projects, Nadine replied: "Of course. Ever since naman, if meron namang pitch, you know, I would be down to do it but I think right now kasi there's a lot of good projects here, and ang hirap mag-no sa good projects."
With the experience of co-directing music videos in the past, Nadine relayed that she also wants to explore directing a short film in the future. "After [co-directing music videos], I realized I really like directing so obviously it doesn't stop there. Maybe if ever I would shoot something, if I would do like a directing project sa susunod, probably short film."
She added: "I do have ideas already. Magaling kasi ako talaga sa concepts, that's what I love."
In the same interview, the actress-singer also shared that she plans to return to music in the future. "For sure. I work with a friend of mine who released an album pero featuring lang ako dun. But I still enjoy making music.”
The actress-singer emphasized that the creative process is what draws her back to music. "I enjoy writing, I enjoy being in the studio and just vibing and kind of coming up with ideas or you know, just making something.”
