Actress and member of Viva Hot Babes Katya Santos broke her silence as she revealed that there won’t be any reunion show happening for them anytime soon. In a Facebook post, the Viva Hot Babe expressed that they love the idea of a reunion but they have their own priorities at the moment.
This comes after the SexBomb Girls have been staging sold-out reunion concerts since late last year. Netizens have wondered if the other pop girl group would be following this path as well to which Katya clarified in her post.

“NO REUNION FOR US. A heartfelt gratitude to all our beloved fans who are consistently hoping for a VIVA HOT BABES REUNION. Unfortunately, we all have our own different paths to prioritize right now. We love the idea but it may not happen anytime soon,” she wrote.
The actress expressed her gratitude to the fans who have been supportive of them and their individual careers.
“Thank you for seeing us for who we were, who we are, and who we continue to be: grateful, proud, and forever thankful for the love. We are who we are. We’ve always been. And we move forward with gratitude, not the need to prove anything,” she shared.
Katya then urged the public that there is no need to compare Viva Hot Babes and SexBomb Girls as they have different styles and strengths even if they are from the same generation.
“Viva Hot babes holds a place in Philippine pop culture that we’re deeply grateful for. Not because of hype or comparison, but because we were part of a time that celebrated confidence, individuality, and fearless self-expression. We weren’t just a group — we were a moment, a feeling, and a reflection of an era that many still remember fondly,” she explained.
“Yes, we are actresses and models. We never claimed to be professional dancers, and we were never meant to be. Our strength was always in our presence, our personalities, and our work across film, music, and media,” she added.
She then congratulated the SexBomb Girls for their successful reunion concerts on behalf of all the members of Viva Hot Babes–– maintaining that they were never competitors.

“The SexBomb Girls are legendary in their own right. Their recent concert success is a beautiful reminder of how much they are loved, and we sincerely congratulate them on that milestone. 👏❤️ They are celebrated for what they do. We are appreciated for what we did,” she assured.
“That’s not rivalry, that's coexistence, contribution, and shared history. We’ve never positioned ourselves as competitors. We simply walked and gave our best to the audience who supported us,” she expressed.
For Katya, while there is no reunion happening anytime soon for her girl group, she is proud of the legacy they’ve built over the years.
“We’re proud of the work we did and grateful that it still resonates with people today,” she closed.
