Ruffa Gutierrez celebrated her birthday in advance through an intimate lunch which was attended by some of her closest friends in show business. She will be turning 51 years old on June 24.
The pre-birthday celebration was held at Dr. Wine in Bonifacio Global City in Taguig.
In the photos shared on Instagram on Sunday, June 15, the actress looked stunning in her pink dress —- a perfect fit for the fancy table setup filled with pink floral embellishments.
“An intimate pre-birthday celebration with my ladies who lunch,” Ruffa captioned her post.
Present at the intimate lunch were Sunshine Cruz, Vina Morales, Karla Estrada, Janice de Belen, Mariel Padilla, Bianca Manalo, Almira Muhlach, and Majorie Baretto.
In a separate post, Sunshine penned a short birthday message for Ruffa, accompanied by some snaps from their gathering.
“Happy advance birthday our dearest @iloveruffag! Wishing you all the very best in the world because a beautiful soul like yours deserves nothing less. We love you Ruffie,” she wrote.
Almira also extended a heartfelt message for her friend in a separate Instagram post.
“We all celebrate the gift of of your life and the Joy you bring to our world,” she said. “It is a gift to have a friend as sweet and wonderful as you. We love you Ruffie!!”
In her caption, she also expressed how happy she was to be reunited with her friends.
“Happy to see friends too from way back to our teenage years,” she said.
Meanwhile, Vina greeted her fellow actress by sharing a video from the event where Ruffa was seen blowing her birthday cake.
Majorie reposted Ruffa’s post in an Instagram story with the caption: “We had the best time!!!”
Bianca and Janice also shared photos from the actress’ pre-birthday celebration on their respective Instagram stories.
This is not the first time Ruffa celebrated her birthday in advance. In 2024, during her 50th birthday, she welcomed her birthday with a simple dinner with her family and closest friends a day prior to the actual day.
Present in the simple celebration were her parents Annabelle Rama and Eddie Gutierrez.
