MAYNILA - Intimate romance film "Gitling" and coming-of-age film "Huling Palabas" were among the nominees in the 4th Pinoy Rebyu awards by the Society of Filipino Film Reviewers for 2024.
First premiered in 2023, "Gitling" and "Huling Palabas" were both from the QCinema International Film Festival and the Cinemalaya Film Festival.
"Gitling" received five nominations in major categories in Best Film, Best Director, Best Screenplay, Best First Feature and Best Lead Performance by lead actor Gabby Padilla and five other technical categories.

Meanwhile, "Huling Palabas" was nominated in five categories from Best Director, Best Screenplay, Best First feauture, Best Lead Performance by Shun Mark Gomez, Best Supporting Performance by Bon Andrew Lentejas and Best Ensemble Performance and two other technical categories.

Internationally acclaimed actress Dolly De Leon was nominated for two films for Best Supporting roles for "Ang Duyan ng Magiting" and "Iti Mapukpukaw".
