MANILA — In a stunning display of its winning form, Creamline made quick work of guest team Ho Chi Minh City, 25-18, 25-16, 25-6, in the 2026 PVL Invitational Conference on Tuesday at the Araneta Coliseum in Quezon City.
The Cool Smashers continued their stellar run with U.S.-bound Jaja Santiago-Minowa, racing to a 2-0 start, highlighted by an 18-1 run in Set 3 en route to a 25-6 demolishing of the visitors in just 12 minutes.
"Siyempre, sobrang saya, lalo na nung third set, kasi kahapon medyo ‘yung third set namin, medyo hindi ganun ka-smooth. Kaya ‘yun nga, nag-improve kami nung third set," said coach Sherwin Meneses during the postgame press conference.

The PVL's winningest squad likewise overwhelmed the Vietnamese side in attacks (75-40) and in blocks (11-4), and led as well as in aces (5-3).
Santiago-Minowa, Jema Galanza, and Tots Carlos had 12 points each, as Alyssa Valdez chipped in nine markers and 10 excellent digs. Enabling them was Kyle Negrito, who registered 20 excellent sets and two points.
No Ho Chi Minh City player reached double-digit scoring, with Thi Kim Thanh Dang scoring eight markers for the skidding squad, dropping to a 0-2 slate.
