MANILA — A guest squad has finally broken through in the 2026 PVL Invitational Conference.
Thailand’s EST Cola was the first visiting team to enter the win column, sweeping Farm Fresh, 25-21, 25-16, 25-22, on Tuesday at the Araneta Coliseum in Quezon City.
The Foxies put up a last stand as they knocked on EST Cola’s doors, tying the match in Set 3 at 21-all off an Ara Galang kill block, but Nirarach Srikuta answered back with a sharp spike, coupled by a Papatchaya Phontham ace that caught the Filipino side off-guard for a 23-21 advantage.

Trisha Tubu’s attack error put EST Cola on match point at 24-21, but a service fault from the Thai crew gave Farm Fresh another chance.
The winning play for EST Cola came from the setter, Natnicha Saelao, who outsmarted the Foxies’ blockers, firing the game-clinching surprise drop to put an end to the match that lasted only one hour and 30 minutes.
Saelao was named Player of the Game, tallying 22 excellent sets while having seven points, as Papatchaya had 17 points built on 13 attacks, three aces, and one block.
“Today we are so happy because of our team work and I helped (in) everything,” she said in her local language, as translated by teammate Ankomah Serah.
Tubu, meanwhile was the lone bright spot for Farm Fresh after she registered 15 points in the loss.
