It is the end of the road for Southeast Asian teams at The International 2025.
This, as Boom Esports was eliminated by Wildcard from the Dota 2 world championships after falling short against the North American squad, 2-1, on Saturday evening (Manila time).
This was a day after ousting fellow SEA crew Team Nemesis in 2-0 fashion.

After an easy work in the first map, gaining a 1-0 advantage, Boom could not replicate the same outcome in the next two games.
Souliya "JaCkky" Khoomphetsavong's Medusa tried to put up a fight in the second map, as Boom even tried to go high ground despite having an 18k gold deficit, but Luke "Yamsun" Wang's Sven became too much to handle and had a 20-5-18 performance when the dust settled.
Boom players, joined by Filipinos Armel "Armel" Tabios, Timothy "Tims" Randrup, and Jaunuel "Jaunuel" Arcilla, were able to claw their way back from a 0-14 lackluster start to eventually make it an even match during the midgame.

But a botched high ground attempt at the 59-minute mark spelled the difference, despite the Doom securing the Aegis in a triumphant clash just a play ago, as JaCkky's Sven and Armel's Timbersaw died in that skirmish.
Wildcard forced the dieback on the Sven and Timbersaw, just the correct kills they needed to push and force the good game call on Tims and company.
