MANILA — Boom Esports stayed in the hunt for the Aegis after making quick work of Team Nemesis, 2-0, in their Group Stage encounter at The International 2025 on Saturday morning (Manila time).
Filipino players Armel "Armel" Tabios, Timothy "Tims" Randrup, and Jaunuel "Jaunuel" Arcilla will continue their journey, while Nemesis is the first team to be eliminated from the tourney.

Boom is in a must-win situation from now on, or it would face the same fate as Nemesis.

Meanwhile, the five-man Pinoy squad of Erice "Erice" Guerra, Polo "Raven" Fausto, Eljohn "Akashi" Andales, John "Jing" Duyan, and Mc "Mac" Villanueva ended their campaign with a 0-4 win-loss record.
Still, they showed promise against the best squads, such as Team Falcons and Yakutou Brothers, splitting their respective matchups, 2-1, before falling to Wildcard on a 0-2 fashion.
