KUALA LUMPUR, Malaysia – Heads up, gamers!
The next edition of the Asia Pacific Predator League will take place in India, as announced during the closing ceremonies of the 2025 edition, Sunday at the Malaysia International Trade and Exhibition Centre (MITEC).
Qualifiers, as usual, will also be held locally in the Philippines and participating countries — an attempt to reach grassroots communities to discover relatively unknown talent among the youth.
The continuity of Predator League underscores Acer's commitment to champion gaming, fostering talent and community development, and highlighting esports' role in bridging gamers and non-gamers.
The said tournament was first held in 2018, in Jakarta, Indonesia. It has been conducted in Manila, Philippines twice, including 2024, which also saw the emergence of Filipino esports powerhouses Team Secret of Valorant and now-defunct Blacklist Rivalry of Dota 2.
Unfortunately, both teams failed to defend their titles in the 2025 edition, as the Adobo Gang did not secure enough wins to advance to the semifinals of the 2025 iteration of the tourney, while Blacklist was disbanded last year.
Pinoy squads ZOL Esports (Valorant) and Ivory (Dota 2) also put up a gallant stand, but ultimately failed to lift the Predator Shield and win it all in their respective games.

However, a silver lining for the Philippines was Mark Anthony "Bob" Urbina, who was named MVP for the Dota 2 event after his Malaysia-based team, Myth Avenue Gaming, conquered the tilt.
