Teatro Kapamilya is set to bring heartbreak to the stage with a production based on award-winning playwright George de Jesus' "Kung Paano Maghiwalay."
On Sunday, ABS-CBN's theater production arm said it would mount "The Art of Breaking Up" at the PETA Theater Center in Quezon City from November to December 2026.
The play "traces the tender, messy, and other times funny unraveling of love," Teatro Kapamilya said in its Facebook post.
"Through fleeting moments and intertwined lives, it follows couples as they fall apart, cling on, and slowly learn to let go, revealing the complexity of human connection in all its warmth, confusion, and heartbreak," it said.
The production is based on De Jesus' play, which was also adapted into a screenplay that won second prize in the Dulang Pampelikula category at the 2013 Palanca Awards.
